don't sell your data, we don't track you, and we don't use third-party

analytics. Your habits are your business.

Who We Are

Oyster is a habit tracking app built by Rayhan Kamal. This policy covers the

Oyster iOS app and its backend services.

What We Collect

We collect the minimum data needed for the app to function:

• Account information — Username, display name, and a securely hashed

password. If you link your Apple ID, we store an anonymized Apple identifier

(not your email or name).

• Habit data — Your habits, completions, streaks, standards, and journal

notes. This is the core of what the app does.

• Subscription status — If you subscribe to Oyster Pro, we store your

subscription status and transaction identifiers to manage your access. Payment

processing is handled entirely by Apple — we never see your payment details.

What We Don't Collect

• We do not collect your location

• We do not collect your contacts
